Florida’s Controversial Senate Bill 1992 passed on April 23, 2008
It does include the Stiffer Penalties wording for injuring or killing a motorcyclist.
This is Great News and the first such bill in the country.
It was part of a compromise bill that includes numerous other issues that are unfavorable to many though.
Before the bill becomes law it’s counterpart in the Florida House must be passed and the bill signed by the Governor.
This is expected to Happen.
